Excellent food at the Falcon Steakhouse

A group of 8 visited the Falcon Steakhouse for lunch just before Christmas and were delighted with the service, atmosphere and especially the food. Seven of us had different types of steak, all ordered to be cooked to different degrees - when they arrived, every steak was perfectly cooked, with loads of chips and other goodies. Andy, the Chef, uses top quality, 28 day hung local steak, so the quality is very good indeed. The rest of the menu looks good as well to cope with a wide range of tastes, including vegetarian. This is a great addition to the Wotton food scene and provides excellent value for money.

    Couldn't have put it better myself! Its a rare treat now to get good pub food at a reasonable prices. I think they have got the balance right here.

    Great value and tasty pub food

       

    Noticed the Falcon was doing food and that they had a 2 for 1 offer on Mon to Fri over the lunch time 12-3pm, so popped in with the mother in law. We both had the steak and ale pie, portions were massive and the food was really tasty. Its not a restaurant it's a pub with good quality, well priced food. With drinks and the offer it came to just over £11. I enjoyed it so much I have been back twice with different family members in just the past week and for 6 of us with drinks it came to just under £30, a bargain, the Greek dishes especially were delicious.

    Wotton needs somewhere where you can get some decent food at a price the isn't taking the mickey. I noticed they also do a carverys on Sundays so my wife booked the whole family in for Fathers day, hopefully it will be as enjoyable as the three different meals I have had in there so far. As I said its good food in a nice pub and it needs some more support from Wotton, give it a try!
