Home safe and sound: Six-month-old terrier cross, Floss.
A "super cute" puppy feared stolen from its South Gloucestershire owner has been returned.
Six-month-old terrier cross Floss, pictured, went missing at 3.30pm on Saturday from outside her Kingswood home.
Owner Lauren Pinkett, 25, was terrified her precious dog had gone forever after neighbours told her they had seen a woman wearing a long leather jacket and glasses pick up Floss near the telephone box in Holly Hill Road.
She said Floss was so "super cute" that she feared anyone who came across her would keep her. Miss Pinkett had been careful to ensure Floss was micro chipped and immediately reported her as missing on the Dog Lost website fearing that she had been stolen.
She contacted The Post and went out putting up posters and handing out leaflets in a desperate bid to find her pet.
And now she has contacted The Post to say that Floss had been returned to her.
Sadly nine-month-old Lola – a Labrador-poodle cross – who bolted from owner Emma Leworthy in Staple Hill just three hours later on the same day is still missing.
