Olly Murs announces Gloucestershire gig at Westonbirt Arboretum

Olly Murs is playing a concert at Westonbirt Arboretum this summer as part of the Forest Live series of special events.

The former X Factor contestant, plus special guests, will be performing at the arboretum on Sunday, June 23.

Tickets cost £35 (subject to booking fee) and go on sale at 9am this Friday (February 15).

The success Olly Murs has experienced over the past four years is nothing short of phenomenal, with the release of three multi-platinum selling albums: Olly Murs (2010), In Case You Didn't Know (2011) and last year's Right Place Right Time.

He also managed the rare feat of being top of the album and singles chart simultaneously whenTroublemaker, featuring Flo Rida, hit the top spot for a second week.

Further singles success with hits like Heart Skips a BeatPlease Don't Let Me GoBusyDance with Me Tonight and Oh My Goodness have ensured his catchy pop tunes a sustained presence in the charts and on radio station playlists.

Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission, which brings music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship.

Income generated from ticket sales is spent on caring for the internationally-important tree collection at Westonbirt Arboretum, and improving it for both people and wildlife.
